I hope all of you are having a very happy 4th of July weekend! I woke up this morning to find that Clear Channel's NEW! program has published a little feature about me on a number of local radio station pages across Southern CA - 104.3MyFM, Hot92.3, 102.7KIISFM and 98.7FM included. Wow! You can check out the feature here. I'll be playing a little show right on Pacific Highway in Redondo Beach tonight - I think it will be a perfect setting for a holiday weekend. I'm sweating it out here in LA and looking forward to our trip to the (let's hope milder) Northwest at the end of July. It'll be a quick trip, with a few shows in the Seattle and Portland areas and possibly a stop in San Francisco on the way down. It'll actually be my first time in Portland, and I've heard such wonderful things about the audiences up there, so I'm really looking forward to it. As always, check the shows section for details. We'll be finishing up the long-awaited music video this month and our fab designer Erin is working on a t-shirt design that will rock your socks off, so this summer is turning out to be pretty darn productive! Who needs the beach...(ok, well, I've been going to the beach, too).

I'm back in LA and getting ready to play the very exciting new Sundays on Sunset series at hip club Libertine June 8th. The tour was absolutely fantastic and I had the time of my life! We played some beautiful venues as well as some great radio shows, made lots of friends, and got some press! THANK YOU to everyone who helped get the word out and came out to the shows, as well as to the other artists I had the good fortune to share the stage with and/or put together shows with: Willy Porter, Maura Rogers, Jim Snively, Stella Schindler, Mara Levi. And I must give a very special thanks to everyone who put us up and made us feel like we were already home. I can't wait to hit the road again, and I will soon, so stay tuned.

Announcing the Already Gone Tour 2008! That's right, Mike and I will be hitting the road this April-May, with a number of dates throughout the Midwest and the East Coast. I can't wait! We have several dates posted in the shows section of the site, but there are more being added all the time. Check back often for updates!

After filming a new music video this last week (more on that later!), I was very pleased to come home to find 2 brand-new reviews. Both are short and sweet! The first is from the Grand Rapids Press' own music guru, John Sinkevics, from his Sound Check blog, and the second is from Bruce at blog and online radio station The Promise Live. Check them out!

Happy New Year, everyone! I'm back from a fantastic trip to Michigan that included an interview at WYCE - one of my very favorite stations - and a standing-room only show! Thanks to Grand Rapids for showing us such a warm welcome back. We've got some exciting things going on - first off, I've got 2 video entries in the FameCast contest. I'm thrilled to be playing LA's Jeff Buckley Tribute next Thursday, November 15 at the Key Club. The show is just $10 and the proceeds go to The Silverlake Conservatory, an incredible little music school started by none other than Flea! It's exciting to be honoring the memory of such an influential performer and supporting a cause I believe in at the same time. AND I'm joined by incredible guitarist Tim Young, who teaches at the Conservatory! Let me know if you want tickets, I've got 'em.
